The form guides tenants step-by-step through a compliant QLD pet request workflow and ensures all required information is captured before submission.
How it works:
Step 1: Share your link with the tenant
This form works a little differently from our usual FLK it over documents. Instead, each agent is given a unique Pet Request link to share with tenants. Since the link is personalised, any completed request is automatically linked back to your inbox.
Step 2: Tenant Completes the Pet Request
The tenant is guided through the form in a clear, structured workflow. The request cannot be submitted until all mandatory fields are completed.
Some special features:
Tenants can apply even if they haven't bought the pet yet (leaving microchip numbers for later).
They can upload photos and supporting documents.
If they are applying for multiple pets, we automatically create one form per pet as required by the legislation.
Step 3: Agent Notification & Review
Once the form is submitted, you will receive an email notification confirming the property address, and the tenant(s) making the request. You can then review the request directly through FLK it over and review and approve or decline each pet, FLK will guide you through each reply, ensuring you answer correctly depending on the reason.
Agent Responds: You set the approval conditions or rejection reason then inform the tenant via email.
Compliance & Tracking
FLK it over includes built-in safeguards to ensure you meet QLD legislative requirements:
Approval timeline: QLD law requires a response within 14 days, and if no response is given the request is taken to be approved.
Reminders: The system will remind you about any pending applications when there are 7 days, 4 days, and 1 day left to process them.
Annexure Generation: If the tenant provides extensive notes the system automatically generates Annexure pages.
Try it yourselfA great way to see how the Pet Request Form works is to run a test yourself. Send the link to a colleague and add more than one pet, then test the process by approving one and rejecting the other. You can track the test at every stage from your dashboard - sent for signing, in progress, and completed, giving you a clear, hands-on view of how FLK it over makes the QLD pet request process simpler.
Quick Troubleshooting
Can't find a request? Ensure the tenant used your specific link and completed all fields.
Application hasn't been received? If there are multiple tenants, the application will not be submitted until all tenants sign. You can check the progress anytime by viewing your Sent for Signing dashboard or opening the Upload a Doc to see each tenant's status.
Where can I check the status of my agreement? Once the document is shared with the landlord for signing, it will appear as a typical Upload a doc in sent for signing and you'll be able to view all progress.
