Alternative Ways to Sign

Choose the Signing Method that Suits Your Needs

Written by Andrew Colagiuri

FLK it over offers flexible signing options to suit the needs of your agency and clients.

While our platform is designed to support electronic signing, you can also choose to send documents for manual signing when required.

Manual Signing (Email me PDF)

If you would like your client to sign a document manually, select Email me PDF.

This option will:

  • Generate a PDF version of the document

  • Send the PDF directly to your email address

  • Allow you to forward, print, or distribute the document as needed

  • Enable your client to sign the document using a traditional handwritten signature

This option is ideal when electronic signing is not suitable or preferred.

Electronic Signing (Send for Signing)

To send a document for electronic signature, select Send for Signing.

This option will:

  • Generate a secure signing link

  • Allow recipients to review and sign the document electronically

  • Provide real-time tracking of signing progress

  • Automatically record all signing activity in the audit trail

Once generated, the signing link can be shared through:

  • Email

  • SMS

  • WhatsApp

  • Other messaging platforms

This provides flexibility in how you deliver documents while maintaining a secure and compliant signing process.

Which Option Should I Choose?

Email me PDF is best when:

  • A handwritten signature is required

  • Your client prefers paper-based signing

  • You need to print the document

Send for Signing is best when:

  • You want a faster signing process

  • You need electronic signatures

  • You want to track signing progress

  • You prefer a fully digital workflow

Choose the option that best suits your client's needs and your agency's processes.

When sending the signing link via email, WhatsApp, or another messaging platform, please ensure that your client accesses it on a mobile device with touchscreen capabilities, as our software requires this feature for electronic signatures.
